All those spoken with said that staff at the home treated them with respect and one spoke of the action the manager took when concerns were raised.

People said they were able to make decisions about their day to day care such as when to get up and go to bed, to spend time alone or join in groups and where to have their meals. We saw people participating in a house meeting, making choices about what they wanted and contributed towards the running of the home. People had the opportunity to take part in all aspects of life within the home as they wished or that their capacity allowed.

One relative talked about the discussions they had with staff about their relatives care needs and the decisions agreed. Another talked about their family member living within the home and that they found the staff to be very professional and had no concerns.
