During a routine inspection
We were told about the good links the dialysis unit staff have with the main renal centre at the local acute NHS trust and how this meant advice and support was readily available if the staff had any concerns about people attending for their dialysis.
Overall, people felt involved in the planning of their care and treatment. Many of the people attending the unit are very knowledgeable about their condition. They felt their views and opinions were listened to and respected.
