During a routine inspection

People living in the home were not able to tell us directly what they thought about the home. Because of this we spent time listening to staff engaging with them, and seeing how people reacted. This showed us that the staff had a good understanding of the needs of people and what support they were expected to offer. People reacted well to staff, laughing when engaged in activities, seeking out a staff member when they wanted a drink, and smiling and laughing when told who was on duty later in the day.
