Inspection carried out on 21 November 2012

During a routine inspection

We spoke with seven people in total by telephone, four who received support from the agency and three relatives. People told us that they were happy and satisfied with the care and support being provided. Comments made to us during our review included, �Ripon and District have very nice staff who are all helpful. They make my life as easy as possible.� People also said �The staff are very good. I have no faults with them. I actually have a good laugh with them each morning.� All the relatives we spoke with all spoke highly about the agency. One relative said �They are very good with my wife, they are absolutely fabulous. I cannot fault them. They are the best. I would have them every day if I could afford it.�

People told us that they had copies of their care plans and confirmed that they were always involved in planning their care with the agency.

We spoke with two members of staff by telephone. They told us that they were well supported and were provided with the information and training they needed to do their jobs. Staff we spoke with told us that the training the agency provided was 'very good.�

We spoke with the Local Authority Contracts Officer who informed us that they did not have any concerns about this service.
