During an assessment under our new approach

Date of Assessment: 17 February 2026 to 24 February 2026.This is the first assessment for this newly registered service. The service is a residential home providing support to adults of all ages living with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder or mental health needs.

We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’. This guidance supported judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted.

People received safe care that was based on their individual assessed needs. People and those important to them were involved with this process. Care was delivered in a bespoke environment that had specifically been designed and adapted to meet people’s individual needs.

People were protected from potential abuse as procedures were followed. Infection control was considered. Medicines were managed safely. The principles of the Mental Capacity Act were understood.

People were treated in a kind and caring way by staff they appeared comfortable with. Staff had been safely recruited and had the skills and knowledge to support people and deliver care at the times people needed it.

There were systems in place to monitor quality of the service. Staff felt listened to and involved with the service.
