Other evidence

There was evidence within the care records of information provided by the hospital when their patient was discharged to the home. An Infection Control Nurse has visited the home and spoken to the manager and staff following the admittance of a person with a Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) infection.

There was evidence within the records seen of consultation with GP’s, Dieticians and Podiatrists. Additional care plans had been recorded following consultation with other health professionals over the most appropriate care and treatment.
