During a routine inspection
During our inspection we visited two out of the three people using the service and a relative in their own homes. We spoke with another relative on the telephone to gain their views of the service. People using the service told us they were very happy with the care they received. One person said 'everything is ok here, it's all fine' and another person said 'she is very good, I get on well with her'. One relative of a person using the service told us the provider was 'very professional and excellent'. Another relative said 'I think it's excellent, (person) is well and happy, I can tell that (provider) really cares for (person)'.
People told us they were respected, treated as an individual and involved with decisions about their care. People's care records reflected their current needs and how they would be supported by the provider.
The provider had a procedure to follow if someone had a complaint about the service. We found the escalation procedure for people to raise their concerns externally was not fully up to date.
