Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
i) The registered provider must within 7 days of this condition taking effect undertake quality assurance audits at Mont Calm Residential Home, 72-74 Bower Mount Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8AT in respect of the following: -
• A review of care plans of all service users including assessments relating to all risks associated with service users’ care.
• A review of care plans relating to service uses preferences and life history
• A review of daily care notes for all service users
• A review of accidents and incidents
• A review of audits of the environment to include fixtures, fittings and the garden
• A review of audits of infection, prevention controls
• A review of staff deployment in relation to service users choice of getting up in the morning, and going to bed at night.
ii) The registered provider must within 14 days of this condition taking effect and on the first working day of every six weeks thereafter must send to the Care Quality Commission a report detailing the outcome of the quality assurance audits. The report should detail any remedial or immediate action taken along with any other action that the Registered Provider plans to take as a result of the outcome of these audits. The report should include associated timescales for completing the actions and highlight who will be responsible to ensure that the required improvements are made.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 39 service users at Mont Calm Residential Home.
The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Mont Calm Residential Home.
