Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

As soon as this condition comes into effect the Registered Provider must submit a report of their own investigation and any lessons learned following all safeguarding allegations which have been substantiated by the local authority.

No later than 14 days after this condition comes into effect the Registered Provider must complete a thorough review of all service users’ holistic care needs and identify any risks associated with their care and support.

(a) No later than 14 days after this condition comes into effect the Registered Provider must ensure they put in place a staffing dependency tool to ensure that sufficient numbers of staff are deployed in line with service users’ dependency and assessed care needs.

(b) No later than 14 days after this condition comes into effect the Registered Provider must send a report to the Care Quality Commission each month, detailing the staffing levels and how these are sufficient to meet service users’ dependency needs safely.

No later than 4 weeks after this condition comes into effect the Registered Provider must submit a clear and detailed action plan to the Care Quality Commission detailing their plans for the modernisation of the model of care provided to service users in the home. The plan should set out how the Registered Provider will ensure that the model of care will have regard to the values of Registering the Right Support. The plan should also set out how the Registered Provider will transition the service into a new legal entity.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Keswick House.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 15 service users at Keswick House.
