During an inspection in response to concerns

People told us that they were happy at the home, and that they found staff at the home very easy to talk to. People also told us that they felt they were well cared for all the time.

One person told us that the staff at the home knew what she wanted and were responsive to her needs. People told us that staff treated them with kindness and respect, but also said that �you can have a laugh with them�.

Inspection carried out on 24 February 2011

During a routine inspection

People said that they were treated with respect and that they received the personal and medical care they needed. Some felt this could be even better if the staff were not always so busy. People said they did not see the manager very often. The management of people's medication needed some improvements to ensure systems were completely safe for people. People said they were satisfied with the social activities they could do and they liked their meals. People said they felt safe, and any concerns would be acted upon.
