Nova House is a residential care home which provides personal care for older people, some of whom were living with dementia. We completed our on-site assessment visit on 18 December 2023, off site activity was completed on 18 and 19 December 2023. We looked at 5 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes. The service provided safe and effective care and support to people. Staff encouraged people to be involved in decision making and people were given choice and control over their care. Staffing levels were sufficient to support people appropriately.
