During a routine inspection

We carried out an unannounced inspection at Domiciliary Support and Reablement Braintree on 24 January 2012. Following our inspection we had conversations of various lengths with three people receiving a service from the agency and one relative of a person receiving a service. People told us that they were very happy with the support provided; one person said that they were “very impressed” with the service. People described how staff were helping them to regain skills that would enable them to live independently in the community. One person said “They’re definitely helping me to make progress.” A relative was very complimentary about the service; they told us “The staff are extremely good, I can’t fault them. They gave X confidence and made them feel secure.”
