On the first visit we identified improvements were required relating to the environment and medicines. These were discussed with the registered manager. On our second visit action had been taken to improve the environment and ensure medicines systems were effective.
The service was clean, and staff understood how to manage infection control risks.

There were enough staff to support people in line with their needs and preferences. Call bells were answered promptly, and we observed staff responding to people’s requests.
