During a routine inspection
People told us that they felt safe living at the home. Comments included "very safe" and, in response to a question about feeling safe "oh yes definitely, I don't have any qualms about anything like that." Two people identified feeling safe as being amongst the best things about living at Oakdene.
People using the service who we asked, spoke positively about the staff team. Comments included "staff are all very kind"; "staff are very very good" and "you are well looked after".
We asked people what they thought the best thing about living at the home was and replies included "I couldn't manage at home so coming here and being looked after is very good"; "I feel stronger since I came here"; "it's nice. They do help if you want help but I am a very independent person" and "I'm safe and I am waited on".
