Workforce wellbeing and enablement

Score: 3

The provider cared about and promoted the wellbeing of their staff and supported and enabled staff to always deliver person-centred care. Staff told us they felt supported by the new management team. They said leaders had an open door policy and they felt confident to approach leaders if they needed any guidance or to share their concerns. Staff had supervisions and daily meetings where they could give their feedback and contribute to decision making. The registered manager said, “Staff do come directly to me if they are concerned. I feel they are happy to come to me and share what is going on. When it’s out of hours, if they don't call me, I call them to check they are ok. We have wellbeing posters on display. We try to offer flexibility for work when staff have personal concerns.”
