Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The provider must implement effective governance systems which enables it to oversee the service, identify and address areas for improvement to ensure that service users receive high quality and person-centred care. These systems must ensure that improvements made are sustained and embedded in practice.

The provider must send CQC a report setting out what actions have been taken to improve and sustain the quality of the care provided. This report must include a summary of the governance actions put in place or taken, and any action plan to continue to complete and sustain improvements. This should include action taken in relation to medicine practices, staff competency and recruitment, care records and methods to gather feedback from people. The report must be received by the Care

Care Quality Commission within 14 days of the condition coming into effect and subsequent, updated reports must also be sent on the last day of each month thereafter.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Leighswood.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 23 service users at Leighswood.
