Overview

Inspection carried out on 2 November 2011

During a routine inspection

People told us that "it's very nice here", "I've no complaints", "I like it here it's better than where I used to live.", "I have a lovely view", "Dinner was fabulous, but I couldn't eat my peas." and "My husband visits everyday and on Sunday we have lunch together in my room."

People also said "There are activities but I don't take part, I prefer to stay in my room" and "we have a choice at mealtimes, there is a menu.", “The girls are all helpful, they come to my room to help me” and “Staff are very good, go out of their way to help you, very obliging.”

Relatives told us that “this is the best place for her so I still visit”, “I can leave her and know she’ll be well looked after.”, “If you ask for something or if something is wrong they’ll try to put it right” and “that there’s not always enough staff.”
