During a routine inspection
People received appropriate care and support that was personalised to their needs We spoke with six of the eight people in the home. Everyone had something positive to say about the care they had received. One person said " We say what we would like here and our requests are granted." Another person said "the standard of care is excellent.'
People made choices about the way they spent their days and the care they received. One person told us "We say what we would like and our requests are granted. Another person said "I am able to wander about here. I just do whatever I want to. I like that'.
People were very positive about the treatment they received from the staff. One person said 'They look after me extremely well. You couldn't find a better lot.'Another person told us "The girls are very hard working. They are all lovely.'
People were encouraged and supported to live in a way that met their needs. We saw that people went out with friends, family and members of staff when they wished. People's health needs were assessed regularly and visits from doctors and community nurses were arranged promptly when required.
