Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is an independent hospital which is part of the Nuffield Health corporate group. It provides inpatient and outpatient services for adults. Services are provided to both NHS and privately funded patients. Nuffield Taunton provides routine, non-urgent elective surgery for adults. Our on site assessment of surgery took place on 10 January 2024 with subsequent remote interview and review of evidence. We assessed 5 quality statements in the safe, effective and well led topics. We found there was a culture of safety and patients care was delivered in line with evidence-based good practice and standards. There was a clear and effective governance framework.
