Patients' views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care. One patient said;" All of the procedures to be undertaken were explained step-by-step and choices were given to me." Another patient said;" I was given written information that told me what could be achieved with treatment."
Before patients received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. We saw consent forms were signed before any treatment took place.
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. One patient said;" I've been so impressed with the care, I'll come back for other treatment depending on the cost." Another said;" I knew how good the Nuffield was even before I was admitted, as people had told me."
We saw effective infection prevention and control procedures were in place to reduce the risk of infections. Patients we spoke with said the hospital clinic was spotlessly clean.
Patients were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. One patient said;" The staff are brilliant and easy to get hold of." Another patient said;" Nurses come straight away."
Systems were in place to ensure people's complaints were fully investigated and resolved, where possible, to their satisfaction.

The people we spoke with said they received good care and support delivered by kind and reassuring staff. One person said; "The staff took time to answer all my questions." Other comments such as excellent, professional and friendly were made about the staff.
We saw there were enough staff to help and support people. Staff confirmed they had the skills to meet people's needs and said there were enough of them to provide care in a timely way. One person we spoke with said; "They must have skates on. They respond very quickly. "Another person said; 'They kept popping into my room to check on me." Another person also said; "I like the way they introduce themselves to me, right away."
During our visit we spoke with ten people who said they were very happy with their treatment and the quality of service provided to them. One person said;' I was asked by staff if I was happy with everything very early and at the end of my stay."
We observed the environment was spotlessly clean and looked hygienic. Comments included; 'It's immaculate. You could eat off the floor."
People were very satisfied with the care they received and felt the conduct of staff was appropriate. One person said, "The staff are on hand whenever you need them, I would press the button but I haven't needed to as they seem to be so aware".
