CQC register Ebony House to carry out the following legally regulated services here:

Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

  • Mr Tahen Seechurn is responsible for these services.
  • Mr Ashvin Krishna Balloo is the registered manager for these services at this location.
Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

All staff at Ebony House must have received first aid training, including practical based CPR training from an appropriately qualified person, by no later than three months from the date this condition takes effect.

Within 7 days from this condition taking effect, the registered provider must complete an audit of all service user risk assessments and within 14 days must submit a report to the Care Quality Commission about the issues which have been identified and any action taken or to be taken by the registered provider and thereafter the registered provider must complete weekly risk assessments audits and submit reports fortnightly to the Commission of issues identified and actions taken or to be taken as a result.

A. Within 7 days from this condition taking effect, the registered person must complete an audit of its systems and processes to ensure that risks relating to the health, welfare and safety of service users are properly identified, assessed and mitigated having regard to:

(i) monitoring records in respect of welfare and behavioural issues

(ii) frequency and nature of monitoring checks

(iii) incident reporting

(iv) post incident analysis and learning and

(v) the accuracy of information provided on staff handovers

B. Within 14 days the registered provider must send to the Commission a report about the risks which have been identified and analysed as a result of the audit referred to in A above and any action taken or to be taken by the registered provider and thereafter the registered provider must complete weekly audits and submit reports fortnightly to the Commission of issues identified and actions taken or to be taken as a result.

The registered provider must not admit any new service users to Ebony House without prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission.

Conditions 4, 5 and 6 remain in effect for a period of 6

months.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons that require nursing or personal care at Ebony House.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 8 service users at Ebony House.
