During an inspection looking at part of the service
People told us that they felt safe at the home. One person said, "The best thing is that you are safe here".
People said that they felt that the home needed decorating. One said, "It all looks a bit old and tired, but they do their best".
People told us that they enjoyed the food. They said that they were always offered a choice at each meal. One person said, "if you don't want what's on the menu you can always ask for something else and they will get it for you".
We asked people about the staff who supported them. They told us that the staff were 'helpful' and 'you can have a laugh with them'. People said that the staff seemed to know what they were doing.
People told us that the managers were often seen around the home and they were always available if people wanted to talk about their care or make a complaint.
