During a routine inspection

We were informed that the home was to be closed at the end of February 2012. A number of health professionals have been working closely with people, the provider and staff in the home to find suitable accommodation. A flat had been found for one person and they were spending time there, including overnight stays. The other person was going to live in a nearby care home, owned by the same provider until they decided where they wanted to live permanently.

We were not able to gain the views of people who used the service. One person was spending time at his flat and the other person was visiting a friend. During our inspection visit we talked to staff and reviewed the care records.
