Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
a. From the date this condition takes effect on the last Friday of every month the provider must send the Care Quality Commission written evidence that the quality assurance systems have been reviewed, and an effective management system is in place to ensure the standards of the service are to an acceptable level. This should include how the provider is ensuring effective managerial oversight of the service.
The written evidence should clearly record how each area will be audited, the frequency of the audits, and who is responsible for completing and reviewing these audits.
b. From the date this condition takes effect, on the last Friday of every month the provider must send the Care Quality Commission all action plans implemented as a result of audits undertaken of the areas listed below, including who is responsible for the action and the date the action should be completed by:
- The management of safeguarding, incidents, accidents and injuries
- The environment and equipment, including safety checks, general maintenance, and cleaning
- Care plans, risk assessments and daily care notes
- Medicines
- Health and safety, including fire, infection prevention and control and food safety
- Staff training to ensure all staff have received the training required for their role

Castletroy Care Homes Ltd must only accommodate a maximum of 69 service users at Castletroy Care Home.
Castletroy Care Homes Ltd must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Castletroy Care Home.
