We looked at the care and support files and found that they contained all the information that was needed to ensure that people were properly supported and safely looked after. We saw evidence that families and other professionals were involved in people's care and that they helped in deciding how best to support them.

We looked at staff files and saw evidence that SS Care took care to check that staff were properly employed. We saw that appropriate checks were carried out before staff commenced working with people. We saw that staff were given training and ongoing supervision to ensure they knew how best to work with people. We checked that the organisation had proper safeguarding processes in place. We saw evidence that these worked to protect people.

We found that SS Care had good processes in place to review and monitor the quality of the services they provided.
