During a routine inspection
People confirmed they were being well cared for at the home and staff provided them with the support they needed to maintain their independence. People said they were able to make choices, for example with meals and with activities and told us they attended day centres and went on outings with a care worker. Staff communicated effectively with people and were polite and professional in their manner.
Medicines were being managed and people were receiving their medicines as prescribed.
The home was being maintained and people had been involved in choosing the colour scheme and furnishings for their rooms.
Staff had received training and demonstrated an understanding of people's individual needs and how to meet these effectively.
People said they would speak with the staff if they were worried about anything and there was a complaints procedure in place.
