Equity in access
Staff described the reasonable adjustments they had made to ensure the service was accessible. The practice was wheelchair accessible via a lift and there were accessible toilet facilities nearby. Staff had access to a hearing loop and language translation services to support patients. On-street car parking was available outside the premises.
Staff were clear about the importance of providing emotional support to patients when delivering care.
The service supported more vulnerable members of society, for example, patients living with dementia or adults and children with a learning disability.
The service displayed its opening hours and provided information on their website, patient information leaflet and social media page
At the time of our inspection, patients who needed an urgent appointment were offered one in a timely manner and the service could arrange for urgent reports on scans to be completed.
