During a routine inspection
At the time of this inspection there was not a registered manager in post, however the provider told us they would put themselves forward for this position.
During this visit people did not wish to answer direct questions but they were happy to talk with us about their daily lives. People told us what they liked to do whilst at home and about their jobs. People appeared to have a good rapport with staff, who understood their needs well.
One person said, 'I get help whenever I need it.' Another person told us, "If I have any worries I go to the manager and they sort it out."
People told us they were involved in making decisions about their care. They felt the staff always respected their privacy and dignity. People felt they got staff support to help them to be as independent as possible.
People we spoke with told us that staff provided care and support in a safe manner. They knew who to talk to if they had any concerns and they were confident that any concerns they had would be dealt with appropriately.
Two people using the service told us that they made their own choices and decisions with support from staff. They said that they liked the staff and got on well with them. They described staff as kind and caring.
