Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must submit a quality assurance audit report within seven days of this condition taking effect, and then by 4pm on the first Monday of every month at Ailwyn Hall, Berry’s Lane, Honingham, Norwich, Norfolk NR9 5AY. The report of audits completed, must provide a detailed overview of your findings and include associated timescales for completing action points identified from the audits and indicate who will be responsible for ensuring that the improvements are made in respect of the following:
a) Evidence to demonstrate staff performance is regularly reviewed and that staff are suitably trained and
competent to meet the requirements of their roles and the individual needs of service users and ensure sufficient levels of staff are deployed to meet the needs of service users during the day and overnight. Including provision of updated versions of the service’s matrix of training, competency checks and
dependency tool.
b) Completion of required checks of service users’ weights, using appropriate assessment tools in
accordance with their assessed needs and analysis and evidence of action taken in response to changes in weight or associated care needs.
c) Completion of quality audits and oversight of the governance arrangements in place at the service in relation to stock levels of medication and actions taken to ensure sufficient supplies of medication are available to meet service users’ needs.
d) Completion of quality audits of the accuracy of all risk assessments, care and support plans and daily records, ensuring where applicable those relating to specific conditions, use of equipment, activities preferred or prescribed medications with associated risks are included and personalised.
e) Evidence of systems for the reporting, recording, trend analysis and action taken in response to safeguarding, incidents, accidents and complaints to demonstrate you are identifying risks and maintaining service users’ safety and well-being.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at or from the location Ailwyn Hall.
The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 41 service users at the location Ailwyn Hall.
