Our view of the service
Date of Assessment: 8 April 2026 to 10 April 2026. The service is a residential care home registered to provide accommodation and personal care to older people, younger adults and those living with dementia. This assessment was completed in response to serious concerns that were shared with us following our inspection on 10 March 2026.
Since our last assessment, the provider had not taken the necessary action to make improvements to the safety of the people living in the home. The provider remained in breach of the legal regulations relating to people’s safe care and treatment. The service remains rated inadequate.
People continued to not receive safe care. The provider had not taken the necessary action to keep people safe in relation to choking and pressure risks, which exposed people to the risk of harm. The provider had not adequately assessed the needs of a person before they moved into the home to ensure they had the equipment required to safely meet their needs.
In instances where CQC has begun a process of regulatory action, we may publish this information on our website after any representations and/or appeals have been concluded, if the action has been taken forward.
