We found that people's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided in relation to their care. We spoke with five people who used the service. They told us they were treated with respect and were very happy with the care they received. One person said, "I think this is a good place."People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. One person who used the service said, 'They always ask us what we want."
People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. All of the people we spoke with told us they felt safe in the home and with the staff.
People were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. One person said,
"They (the staff) are very good to us." Another person said staff were, "Friendly and helpful."
We found that the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received. One person said, 'We tell them what we want.'
