Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this.
People attended meetings and were involved in making decisions about what mattered to them. Documents showed people were consulted and records were person-centred. People were appropriately referred to health professionals and supported to access appointments when needed. For example, opticians and the GP. Health professional advice was followed to support good outcomes for people.
People benefited from an inclusive and accessible environment enabling them to live their lives without discrimination. Staff understood and respected people’s protected characteristics.
