During a routine inspection
We spoke with one person who used the service and we were told: "I have never had cause to make a complaint. The staff are usually pleasant and do a good job. They always try their best to help".
We found systems in place to effectively monitor the quality of the service provided. Regular audits of the client's care pathway and prescribing was undertaken.
Incidents and complaints were managed appropriately.
We found the service had current policies and procedures in place to provide staff with guidance on how to deal with any cause of concern, either involving vulnerable adults or their dependants, namely children.
We viewed the electronic client records of two people who used the service. We saw the records were fully updated at each visit.
