Our view of the service
Date of Assessment: 5 June 2025 to 9 June 2025. Crystal Social Care is a domiciliary care agency that provides care and support to people living in their own homes. They supported older people and were also registered to support children and young people in the community.
At the time of our inspection 1 person was being supported with personal care. The service was registered with the CQC in May 2021, and this is the first inspection.
Care plans provided information on how to keep people safe, which staff followed. Risks to people were assessed and mitigated.
There was enough staff to support people and they had been recruited safely. Staff had received training; however, some refresher training was outstanding. People told us they were consulted about all aspects of their care.
Governance processes were in place relevant to the size of the service; however, the registered manager had a good knowledge of how these processes would need to be developed as their business grows.
People's experience of this service
People told us they were happy with their care and had a consistent staff member to provide support. A relative said, “I think this service has been good. The carer is punctual.”
