Updated 1 May 2026

Date of Assessment: 7 May 2026 and 6 June 2026. We undertook 1 visit to the service 7 May 2026 and reviewed information that the registered manager sent us electronically following our visit. Hampton Crescent is an extra care housing scheme for people aged 55 years and over. Creative support provides onsite emergency response and planned domiciliary care to people within their own homes in the scheme. At the time of this assessment 20 people used the service. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do; we also consider any wider social care provided. We reviewed all quality statements.

People using the service were safe and were supported by staff who were described as extremely kind and caring. The registered manager and staff understood their safeguarding responsibilities and worked openly to report, review and learn from incidents. Risks were assessed and managed in a person‑centred way. People involved in decisions about their care and supported to take positive risks, where appropriate.

Care was delivered in line with people’s individual needs, preferences and aspirations. People were extremely well supported to maintain and develop their independence and be as independent as they could be. People and relatives gave consistently positive feedback about the care provided.

Staff told us they felt supported by the management team. Supervisions and appraisals were taking place. Staff told us they enjoyed working at the service and their wellbeing was supported.
