Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 7 May to 15 June 2026. Personalized Care Plus Ltd Office is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care and treatment of disease, disorder or injury to people living in their own home. CQC only inspects where people are receiving the regulated activity. At the time of this inspection, 39 people were receiving support in line with the regulated activities of personal care and treatment of disease, disorder or injury.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
This is the first inspection for this service since registration.
People were treated with kindness and respect by staff and protected from harm. People’s care needs were assessed before they used the service.
Care plans were person centred and contained information supporting staff to provide safe care. Staff understood what actions to take where people’s needs changed. Infection prevention and control measures were implemented effectively.
People received their medicines as prescribed, with regular checks in place to ensure correct administration, and documentation.
The registered manager and staff worked in partnership with health professionals to help people achieve positive outcomes. The registered manager valued their staff team and worked to support their wellbeing. Staff told us the registered manager was supportive, and they received regular supervisions and felt able to speak up.
The service had governance systems in place and the registered manager continuously looked at ways to improve the service. There was a positive learning and improvement culture which promoted and ensured good outcomes for people. However, systems and processes were not always effective to ensure notifications required to notify the Care Quality Commission (CQC) of certain events and incidents were submitted when required in a timely manner. This was addressed by the registered manager immediately and the notifications submitted retrospectively.
