Our view of the service

Cobham Day Surgery is an independent hospital which is part of Epsomedical Limited. They specialise in adult outpatient services, adult day surgery, endoscopy and diagnostic services; providing a service to NHS patients and a small number of private patients. This assessment looked at surgical services, as we had not inspected the location since 2016. The rating of surgery has been combined with the ratings of the other services from the last inspections. Cobham Day Surgery Hospital was rated good overall at our previous inspection in September 2016. At this inspection, the overall rating remains good. We identified a breach of Regulation 17 (Good governance). These related to failures in poor clinical waste management; risk management; non-compliance with the requirement to display CQC ratings.
