Our view of the service
We undertook this comprehensive assessment on 18 December 2025 & 5 March 2026. The service was inspected in line with our assessment priorities due to an aged rating. We assessed all quality statements across the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions and have combined the scores for these areas to give an overall rating. We rated the service as good.
This meant we found that:
Staff understood and managed risks. There was a strong, visible person-centred culture. Patients were protected and kept safe. Staff made sure patients understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent.
Staff treated people as individuals and made sure people’s care, support and treatment met people’s needs and preferences. Leaders cared about and promoted the wellbeing of their staff and were exceptional at supporting and enabling staff to always deliver person-centred care. Staff treated people with kindness, empathy, and compassion.
The service was consistently managed and well-led. Leaders and the culture they created promoted high-quality, person-centred care.
