Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Person must not admit any new service user without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission. This includes any respite or emergency admissions of service users, any readmissions of previous service users, or where service users return to the location following admission to hospital.
The Registered Person must ensure behaviour management risk assessments and care plans for all service users are reflective of Positive Behaviour Support professional advice. The Registered Person must review this position every 28 days to ensure that any changes have been appropriately documented and new service users have been included.
All staff responsible for providing personal care to service users must have suitable training and competency checks for managing service user’s risk behaviours safely. This must include training to manage sexualised behaviours. Training must be delivered by a person with the necessary skills and qualifications. The Registered Person must review this position every 28 days to ensure that all staff are trained and competent.
The registered provider must carry out a review of the governance, quality assurance and monitoring systems covering the following areas: -
a. risks to service users are managed; all records must reflect service user’s current needs
b. care records reflect service user’s current needs; care plans are updated in a timely manner
c. safeguarding incidents are recorded, investigated and notified to relevant agencies, including the Care Quality Commission, in a timely manner
d. systems and procedures to assess and monitor the quality of care provided are effective in identifying improvements and ensuring these are made in a timely manner.
The Registered Person must review this position every 28 days to ensure that the systems in place are being used effectively
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Seacroft Court Nursing Home.
The Registered Provider must only Accommodate a maximum of 50 service users at Seacroft Court Nursing Home.
