Staff received equality diversity and inclusion training to give them an understanding of the context in which they worked. Where people requested gender specific support, this was in place. The service actively promoted inclusion and respected people’s cultural needs and individual differences. They supported 1 person by going to their favourite shop to buy their preferred traditional food and supported another person who was feeling isolated to join a social group.
