Our latest campaign focus is being led by the CQC and Healthwatch England. It's supported by other partners that include Mencap, Disability Rights UK and the National Autistic Society.

Why we're running this campaign

People with a learning disability and autistic people are more likely to experience poorer care and face inequalities. This is despite needing to use health services regularly. Their needs are not always met by the system, leaving them and their loved ones feeling diminished or ignored.

That's why each of the ambassadors participated in our new photo shoot. They've also shared their personal experiences of using health and social care services. Together, they are using their stories to bring the community together to improve health and social care for everyone.

Our 7 ambassadors

The ambassadors include Richard (from Surrey), Claire, Gail and Sylvia (from London), James and Jack (from Hertfordshire) and Sam (from Bristol).

The photography series is part of the Because we all care campaign. The campaign encourages more people to feed back on health and social care to help services improve and to celebrate good practice.
