Caring
At our last inspection, we rated this key question good. At this inspection, the rating has remained good overall.
This meant patients always felt well-supported, cared for and treated with dignity and respect.
Staff worked in a personalised and holistic way to deliver care to patients. Staff had a positive, caring and compassionate relationships with people.
Patients were treated with sensitivity, dignity and respect. People said the staff were compassionate; meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Staff demonstrated genuine understanding and empathy for the people they cared for.
The culture within end of life care was fully focussed on the needs of patients, their care givers, families and loved ones. This shared vision was demonstrated in the caring and compassionate way that care was delivered.
