Governance, management and sustainability
Since the previous inspection, governance arrangements had improved.
Leaders had strengthened oversight of workforce pressures through improved recruitment, forward rota planning and regular staffing reviews. This supported service continuity and risk management.
The service had strengthened systems for monitoring risks, identifying emerging themes and tracking actions There was an improvement in governance oversight and assurance since the previous inspection. The provider had updated its incident reporting policy, and implemented routine review of incidents through governance meetings and performance monitoring. Staff demonstrated a good understanding of incident reporting and were confident using the Datix system.
