Our view of the service

Fairfield General Hospital is located in Bury, Greater Manchester and is managed by the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital provides a range of acute NHS services, including urgent and emergency care, medical care, surgery and outpatients.

We commenced a responsive assessment as part of our urgent and emergency care system pressures thematic review framework. Our assessment only looked at urgent and emergency care and medical care (including older people’s care) at Fairfield General Hospital.
