Our overall rating for caring at Whiston Hospital remains outstanding. We looked at urgent and emergency care services at Whiston Hospital and rated caring as good. Staff treated people who used the service, their relatives and carers with compassion and kindness. Staff understood and respected people’s individual needs. Staff supported people to maintain their privacy and dignity, including when receiving care in non-clinical areas.
