Safe was rated Requires Improvement overall for Broomfield Hospital.
Children and Young People Services were assessed for the first time on the 25th November 2024. Following our assessment the Safe key question was rated Inadequate.
Urgent and Emergency Care was assessed for the first time on the 25th November 2024 with a focus on Children’s Emergency Department. This service was assessed but not rated.
Maternity services were last assessed on the 24th and 25th of July 2024. Following our assessment the Safe key question rating had increased to Requires Improvement.
Medical care, including older people care was last assessed in July 2023. Safe key question rating for this service improved to Requires Improvement.
Surgery was last assessed in July, August and September of 2021. Safe key question rating for this service was Requires Improvement.
