Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 23 July 2025. This assessment was carried out in response to CQC receiving information of concern. We found no evidence of ongoing concern or harm. People were supported to keep safe by enough trained staff that were recruited safely. Infection, prevention and control practices were implemented and monitored to ensure effective systems were in place. There were effective systems in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service and actions were taken as needed. The overall rating for the service remains good.
People's experience of this service
Some people could not directly tell us about their experience. We used our short observational framework for inspection (SOFI) tool to assess whether people received good care. This approach showed people were supported and staff consistently interacted positively with them. Relatives confirmed their loved ones’ needs were met and they were kept informed of any changes. Relatives told us the home was kept clean. One said, “The place is kept clean. There are always cleaners around.” Another relative told us, “It’s spotless, they [housekeeping staff] are on it all the time.” The home was cleaned on an ongoing basis and infection, prevention and control (IPC) practices were in place.
