Our view of the service
Nuffield Health Bristol -The Chesterfield is an independent hospital which is part of the Nuffield Health corporate group. We conducted an evidence-based desk top assessment of the surgical services from the 21 November 2023 to the 7 December 2023 with an onsite inspection on the 23 of November 2023 .We reviewed the safe, effective and well led key questions. The overall rating for this service is good. We rated both safe and well led key questions as good because care and treatment was safe and the service had effective governance arrangements. We have not rated the effective key question as it was not rated at our last inspection in July 2015 and because we did not look at all the quality statements for the effective key question during this assessment. However, complaint responses did not always cover all elements raised in the complaint which meant learning from complaints was not always fully identified.
