At the desk-based inspection on 10 June 2026, we found the following:

The practice had conducted risk assessment to identify and manage risks and staff described the processes. This included sharps safety and lone working. Improvements had been made to ensure the risk assessments were reflective of practice protocols.

Improvements had been made to ensure all staff involved in providing treatment to patients under sedation had completed immediate life support training.

Improvements had been made to ensure all equipment is serviced and validated. The practice submitted evidence the compressor had undergone its annual service on 12 May 2026.

At the desk-based inspection on 10 June 2026, we found the following:

The practice told us improvements had been implemented to the oversight of mandatory staff training and continuing professional development. The practice submitted evidence that all overdue staff training had been completed. The provider should ensure they maintain effective systems for oversight of mandatory staff training.

Improvements had been made to ensure equipment was maintained and serviced in line with manufacturers’ instructions. The practice submitted evidence the annual service and validation for the autoclave (a machine used to sterilise re-usable instruments) had been completed on 19 May 2026.
