Equity in experiences and outcomes

Score: 2

Staff and leaders did not always actively listen to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes. This meant people’s care was not always tailored in response to this.

The provider did not have formal reviews with people. The registered manager told us that they had spoken with people but not formally completed reviews of their care. One person said, “My care plan is relevant, and I sat down with them at the beginning but not had a review ” and “If my needs changed, I would tell them. Not had any reviews but my care is what I want.” The registered manager told us they would ensure peoples reviews were formally recorded by them and their representatives in the future at least annually or when any changes occurred. We did not find any impact on the people they supported.

Planning for the future
